Check out this video of an electric eel! It can make enough electricity to light a Christmas tree!
What a cool way to change the state of matter! Are they adding heat or taking a heat?
Try it at home. Send me a picture of your experiment! Email me szwahr@brenhamk-12.net
What did you do this summer that was fun? I spent a week at the beach for my daughters wedding. While I was there, a nest of sea turtles hatched! It was so much fun watching them scramble toward the ocean! 117 baby sea turtles made their way to the ocean. Did you know sea turtles are considered endangered! That means that they may go extinct in the near future. Can you image a world without sea turtles? We can adopt a sea turtle or a nest and try to save them. Go to http://www.defenders.org/sea-turtles/basic-facts to learn more about sea turtles.
Leave me a comment: Did you see the comet? What did it look like? What is a comet? Tell me an interesting fact about a comet. Show me what an awesome scientist you are! Please leave only your initials and color group.
